Fantastic location, decent property - but extremely poor communication with the hosts.

The apartment itself is lovely and the location is phenomenal — right in the heart of the Old Town, with everything walkable and, surprisingly for a city centre, quite peaceful. The space is also charming and full of character. Wish we had a better experience with the hosts.

The hosting experience left a lot to be desired. With a few fixes, this could easily be a 5-star stay. Key collection is at a separate location, a 10-minute walk away, and you're given only a building number with no indication of which floor the actual apartment is on. You have to call to find out. Wi-Fi is not documented anywhere in the apartment. You need to call the hosts for the code, which is a 20-character string with no instructions. Heating was the biggest issue. The apartment was extremely cold, and it took two days of back-and-forth — including escalation via Booking.com — before the hosts provided even a portable heater for my child's room. Not acceptable for the price they charge. Amenities were incomplete. No hand soap, no bath soap. The apartment had clearly not been fully prepared for guests. The space itself has real potential, but the communication and preparation need significant improvement before I could recommend it.
