Faded French charm but do not book if you need early check-in

Good location, spacious rooms French charm. Staff is very charming

We were allowed a very late check-in. The booking site says 15, but it can be moved to 16; in our case it was moved to 17:30. that is many hours of waiting when it is 35 degrees in Paris. In an old building like this the pipes smell.

It wasn't too bad, but also not great either.

Location is good, wifi is good, apartment is spacious, there were some coffee cups, good price compared to other stays

Very small elevator (you cannot fit a stroller or large suitcase in), construction work during our stay, we had to wait till 16h to check-in and at that point they were still cleaning the apartment for 1.5 hours, bad signage in the building which makes it difficult at first to find your apartment (there are multiple stairs and elevators)

The property has potential, but our stay was overshadowed by noise and security concerns.

We enjoyed the value for money. The location was convenient and well connected, was clean.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by several issues. The air conditioning units produced a frequent loud noise throughout the night, making it difficult for us to sleep. We have recorded the noise and will upload the recording with this review. We were also concerned about security. On one occasion, we returned to find signs that someone had entered the property while we were away. The entrance door had been locked differently from how we had left it, both bedroom doors had been closed even though we had left them open, and the safe was open. Fortunately, we had not left any valuables inside the safe at that time, so nothing was missing. The maintenance team visited the previous day to address the air conditioning noise, but their approach did not give us confidence that they had the necessary experience to resolve the problem. We had also reported from the first day that the safe was malfunctioning and could not be opened, despite using the correct code, while all of our travel documents were locked inside. We eventually had to force it open. During the maintenance visit, one of the technicians, after seeing me enter the code, tried the same code himself without asking for permission. As a result, I immediately changed the code. Even so, because of the overall security concerns, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my belongings in the apartment and had to carry my laptop, tablet, and all of our travel documents with me whenever we went out. Overall, these issues made our stay much less enjoyable than we had expected. Note: I have a video recording demonstrating the recurring air conditioning noise, but the review platform only allows photo uploads. I am happy to provide the recording upon request.
