Honestly we was really surprised. This was our first ever camping / glamping experience and with a 3 yr old in tow and being pregnant again I was nervous…
The location is fantastic, I couldn’t believe how close to Bownes we was. The beds were unbelievably comfy and the heating was fantastic, the pod was a lovely temperature at all times. I would without a doubt go back.
The toilets and shared kitchen area was spotless and everyone who was there was super friendly and made us feel very welcome.
We ordered from a local takeaway (haven’t got the camping thing down to a T yet) and it arrived quickly and knew exactly where to deliver the food.
Don’t hesitate, it’s a great experience and I especially enjoyed the 2 am trip to the LOO and star gazing, it was a fantastic experience.

Good location, nice and quiet. My room had a small stream flowing behind it
Arrived and my code didn’t work to get my key. The on call number in the email was not connected. The on call number written on the sign didn’t answer. I tried two other phone numbers and finally got through to someone who did give me the code (which had not been changed since the last person stayed) - booking.com allowed me to make a same day reservation which I was told they do not usually allow hence why the code wasn’t changed. They did fix the problem in the end but when I was standing there in the rain for half an hour at nearly midnight I was worried I would have to sleep in my car!
Also the beds are very small but I am very tall so it’s my own fault
