About this house rental
This historic farmhouse is situated in a completely secluded location at the end of a cul-de-sac near the East Frisian coast. With three living units, it is ideal for families of friends and smaller groups of 10–13 people, but can accommodate up to 18 people.
The farmhouse was built in the Gulfhaus style and therefore features spacious rooms on the first floor with high ceilings and large windows. On the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms, a dining room, and a kitchen with a pantry, all spread over a total of 140 square meters. The upper floor has a separate entrance. There, two additional living units provide a total of four more bedrooms and a spacious living and dining area. On the first floor, there is a spacious bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a toilet, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine, sink, and bathtub, and a separate guest restroom. The upstairs apartment features a bathroom with a shower, bathtub, sink, and toilet. The upstairs studio is equipped with a bathroom featuring a shower, sink, and toilet.
The farmhouse is situated in a rural setting among pastures and fields. A large, natural garden with mature trees and a fire pit offers various seating options in the sun or shade. To ensure the weather doesn’t spoil a cozy barbecue evening, there’s also a sheltered canopy. A grill and patio furniture are provided. For children, there is a slide, a sandbox, and two swings.
The house is centrally located near the beaches of the East Frisian coast between Jever and Carolinensiel. The coastal resort town of Carolinensiel/Harlesiel is about 8 km away and can be reached by car in 10–15 minutes. Jever and Wittmund are 15 to 20 minutes away. The nearest shopping options are in Hohenkirchen, about a 5-minute drive away.
Thanks to the property’s completely secluded location, you can set your own quiet hours. However, party vacations are expressly prohibited.
