The lack of hot water and heating made this stay unacceptable, and we would not return.

The property is in an ideal location and offers a good level of privacy. The beds were comfortable, and the space itself was generous and suitable for our group.

We stayed at this property for 6 days, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. For the entire duration of our stay, there was no hot water or heating. We contacted the landlord repeatedly over the first three days, and on the fourth day we were asked to stay in all day to wait for a plumber. When he eventually attended, he confirmed that the boiler was leaking, which explained the ongoing issue. This situation had a significant impact on our stay, especially as two members of our group have medical needs and we were also travelling with a child. Being unable to properly shower or bathe for nearly a week made the accommodation unsuitable and uncomfortable. In addition, the kitchen was not well equipped. There were not enough pans or utensils provided, and with no hot water, even basic washing up became difficult. The landlord advised us via text message that a full refund would be issued; however, we have still not received this. Overall, the lack of essential facilities and the slow response to resolve a serious issue made this a very frustrating experience. It appears these may be ongoing issues, and based on our experience, we would not recommend this property at all.

Size of property, off street parking, close to town, comfy beds, large dining kitchen and sunroom.

Heating not working properly, engineer due on day we left, water pressure hit and miss, damp smell in downstairs front bedroom, no working hot tap in shower room it simply spins around.
