Convenient stay for our marathon trip - excellent location and spacious well equipped property
The location was excellent and the apartment is very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was lovely - spacious and the shower was very good in terms of pressure.
It was very cold on the first night. The thermostat had ran out of battery and we were therefore unable to put the heating on. We did communicate this and received a response but this was quite late in the evening. We purchased batteries the following day so that we could operate the heating and the apartment was a nice cosy temperature once sorted.

disappointed
I think the concept would be a property that has potential and if kept to standard could even charge more , if money was spent actually maintaining it which i’m not sure is happening unfortunately, the furniture and decor are nice, the location is good as it’s in the centre. And the building itself (the bones) is beautiful.
Host did let us check in half hour early to be fair.
Unfortunately the place was quite dirty , i forgot my slippers and my white socks were black i threw them out. The heating didn’t work the thermostat was completely dormant , which I did text the host about but upon checking to be fair it didn’t send , however she didn’t reply to my previous text telling her the blinds in the master bedroom were completely snapped off and therefore we couldn’t use that room as the property across would have been able to see straight in so didn’t have much hope in this getting sorted anyway.
The water when we ran it (kitchen) STANK of sewage so we had to go buy bottled water and use it to wash our face and brush our teeth etc. Obviously we had to sleep in the other room then which was FREEZING as the attic window does not shut tidy there was a gap , plus no heating.
Kitchen blinds also broke.
Mold on wooden spoon, tea bags but not even small long life milks.
Pub and traffic noise can’t be helped by the host but if you’re a light sleeper you should consider this, banging every 10 mins from down stairs / next door bar way past 2am on a thursday. Traffic some how is really loud too.
And then the icing on the cake for us was discovering the bedding was dirty, it had black smudges all over it and so did the pillows, i would expect bare minimum for the bedding to have been clean / changed. I’ve come home today and have a cold sore , can’t confirm 100% it was from the bedding may be a coincidence. Completely disappointed to be honest feel robbed, £100 would have been justified not £208.

Very Quicky retreat.
The location was fantastic. The bedrooms were enormously generous, the kitchen had everything you needed there was 2 toilets as there was 5 of us which was ideal.
The amount of stairs to get too apartment and there was more inside the apartment. My dad who is 72yrs old struggled. If I had of known there was that amount I wouldn't of booked. Also the up keep of the place as there was alot of broken items.Blinds you couldn't open, same rooms lights were very dim. And the electric sockets need to be addressed, in kitchen area. And lighting as a few are not working or don't give off enough light.

Beautiful flat in great location.
The location was amazing and the character of the apartment was stunning.
Stairway leading up to flat was dirty, towels were damp, broken glass in parking space.
