Very nice modern home with amazing views to include an outside patio to enjoy grilling and mountain sunshine! 3 bed/2 1/2 bath with plenty of room to sleep 6 adults and one additional twin bed on a small pull out couch. Beds are all handcarved logs... the condo is very mountain themed. Home includes everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Explore the magnificent RMNP for hiking and elk/moose/deer sitings!! Complete stocked kitchen, W/D, in floor heat, high 16 ft vaulted ceilings, 3 HDMI wide screen TV's! Enjoy Timber Retreat!! (f/k/a - The Bear's Den).

This was our 3rd straight year coming to Estes Park and we decided to try a VRBO property. This cozy mountain condo was exactly that. It was convenient & spacious and had everything we needed to ensure a comfortable stay.
Between the time of our original reservation and our check-in, the property was sold and the ownership changed, causing some last minute scurrying to work through the change. Both the former and new owners were exceptionally helpful in making this transition process successful, as we worked through system issues. I couldn't be more please.
The property in quite spacious and very comfortable. There's plenty of room to "spread out". We felt right at home after long days exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and usually slept like babies in the comfortable beds! Don't be surprised if you see a Bull Elk and his haram slipping down towards the lake in the early morning hours!
Whether it's four adults like us, or a family with kids, you'll love this place. We will definitely be stay here the next time we come to Extes Park!

Five of us (two couples and one young adult) had a comfortable, lovely stay — complete with a visit by a herd of elks. The house is in a great location: a short walk to Estes Lake, and less than a mile to Safeway, restaurants, and downtown. Brenda was such a helpful and informative host. Highly recommend!

The property was well maintained and well furnished. The location was convenient in a quiet neighborhood - except when the bull elk standing outside our bedroom window bugled us awake the first morning! What a treat! Brenda, our host, was welcoming and very reponsive. We will definitely think about Brenda's place when next we head for then Rockies.

For the second year in a row we enjoyed the homey warmth of this condo. The location is great, and for both years we had a herd of elk spend several hours in our yard. Brenda is a great communicator. We hope to stay there next year too.

Our host was amazing and the place was even better! Exactly as described, not like some that the pictures look better than the actual place. This week stay was for work but but I’m already planning a return vacation with this exact place. You will not be disappointed in it!

This home was lovely and in an ideal location for enjoying Estes Park and RMNP. Brenda was very easy to communicate with and everything in the home was perfect on arrival. She even left mints and a few little snacks, which were perfect to take on a hike. I traveled with two other couples, and the house offered the perfect mix of communal space and privacy. We visited in September and had the joy of watching Elk stroll by the window in the morning and could hear them bugling during the night. What a treat! We hope to return soon.

Our family of 7 came to Estes for the first time. The house was great, super easy location to get to anywhere in Estes. Nice quiet area, even saw some wildlife out the window. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, but in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. My son went running at Lake Estes as access to the Lake was just down the street. Roomy bedrooms and extra loft area make it comfortable for larger families or friends to gather. My teens liked having the privacy of the upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked. Decorated like a cabin but had the convenience of a modern home. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful location; close to town and enjoyable walk to the lake. The property looks out on a plot of undeveloped land which helps make the view most enjoyable! Hummingbirds at the windows constantly! Incredibly clean and accommodating! Our 2 year old loved the decorations and the fact that she could "climb" into bed. This is the best VRBO we've ever used!

The location of the cabin is ideal to downtown Estes Park, but not too close as you feel as if you are in a mountain home. Views are fantastic and so close to Lake Estes we could walk with our young grandchildren to to lake and back. The cabin is so homey and spacious with wonderful decor!

We had a wonderful winter holiday at this home. We enjoyed Estes and surroundings as well as relaxing at home. It is very nicely appointed and had everything we needed. It was warm and cozy and we can’t wait to go back!
