It's a solid place to stay for the price and location, but manage expectations.

The beds were very comfortable, the apartments were spacious, and the shower pressure is great. The location is also great if you like that area, it's buzzy, plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and it's well connected with everywhere else. It is noisy, but that's to be expected in such a busy area. Good earplugs are a must.

The staff were nice, but the building seemed poorly managed, different people often gave completely contradictory information, which made things confusing and frustration on several occasions. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, and the quality of cleaning varied massively (though cleaning staff were the nicest people so again I put it to management and coordination). Considering the building was only retrofitted a couple years ago, I expected better quality. It looks modern at first glance, but many of the finishes already show signs of damage (bad ventilation, cracked paint, damaged tiles, minor water damage, stains...) so overall it feels like aesthetics were prioritised over quality and proper maintenance.

Renata flat at República neighborhood.

The room,the kitchen,the bed etc.

Everything was fine.

Once the renovations are completed this will be an excellent place to stay

The property was in a good location for what I was looking for. It was close to the nightlife I wanted to enjoy. It was close to the subway and within walking distance to various attractions like parks and shopping and restaurants. There was a food market about 20 steps from the entrance. The shower and toiletries were excellent. My room was recently renovated. The value would have been great had the place been completed.

Although this it is temporary, it would have been nice to know the property would be under renovation. Amenities, such as the sauna, were not available. My room was missing items like hangers and some dishes. The new one microwave was usable but it had display issues. The new oven did not work. The TV remote seem work intermittently. It looked like there was a tv and maybe furniture missing in the bedroom. The “balcony” was not usable and mine looked into a wall. There was construction noise starting at 6:30am, but they did provide earplugs in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they didn’t respond to messages in booking.com.

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
