Lovely location and clean apartment however a bit of a nightmare and disappointing at times!

Cabourg is always beautiful! Fantastic location just near the lovely beach and around fifteen minutes walk along the beach or roads to the main town. Under ten minutes drive to most supermarkets. Clean well equipped apartment with a lovely balcony area. Quiet and peaceful.

Extremely confusing check in process and some communication issues. They sent a message on the first day of our arrival that a plumber was at the door and could we let him in to fix the toilet, which was absolutely fine, but with no prior notice of his immediate arrival it was a bit inconvenient. Could not get the WiFi to work, password on the box was wrong. Tried to explain this and got confusing responses and no resolution for over a day. Then I asked again when they messaged about the plumber and they said he would help us, he then managed to get us the correct password. I wondered why they didn’t just send me the correct password in the first place when I explained the one on the box was not working.. very confusing. Charge extra for linen however no hand towels provided for the bathroom, no sheet for the sofa bed and only one tea towel provided for a week stay. Was even more of a problem when we couldn’t wash anything! Had issues with the washing machine and dishwasher. Was resolved by them advising we turn on the water tap under the sink that connects to the machines however we noticed it was leaking! I sent a message on Thursday to make them aware and get help with it, it’s Monday and we’ve heard nothing back. We couldn’t use the washing machine or the dishwasher our whole stay.

Cabourg war eine Zwischenstation auf unserer Vater-Sohn Tour. Hervorragend war die sehr kurzfristige Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters und dessen Flexibilität. Offensichtlich sind Ferienwohnungen in Cabourg nicht immer mit Bettlaken ausgestattet. Man konnte uns diese gegen eine kleine Gebühr noch am Abend zur Verfügung stellen.

Die etwas kleine Toilette war der einzige winzige Kritikpunkt am Apartment. Ende März waren alle Restaurants und Bars in Cabourg ab 22.30 geschlossen und es gab keine Möglichkeit, nach Bezug des Appartements noch etwas trinken zu gehen.
