About this apartment rental
This romantic vacation rental, located 600 meters above sea level, charms guests with its antique vaulted ceiling and a magnificent view of the sea from the spacious terrace (24 square meters). It’s the perfect hideaway, yet the beach is just a 25- to 30-minute walk away.
In the garden, you can sunbathe or have a barbecue, and there’s plenty of space for the kids to play. You may share the garden with guests staying in a small apartment located below the Casa Amelia.
The veranda gets sun from morning to night, but its roof also provides a shaded area where you can relax during the hottest hours of the day. Here, you’ll spend many wonderful hours daydreaming, chatting, and dining. There is a large table with chairs on the terrace.
The approximately 65-square-meter apartment features an extraordinary cross vault and century-old terracotta tiles in the large, cozy living-dining room. There are also two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a small shower room with a toilet, and a well-equipped kitchen. A crib and high chair can be provided free of charge upon request.
Parking is available 45 meters away, as the house is located in the village (the second-to-last house) and can only be reached via the narrow, medieval alleyways. Apart from occasional noises from agricultural activities in the gardens below the house (lawnmowers, etc.), it is very, very quiet here.
Right in front of the house is a thousand-year-old drinking water spring with delicious mountain water.
There is a grocery store in the immediate vicinity (about 50 meters away) that is open daily, as well as a bar/restaurant.

We had very bad luck with the weather since it rained hard every day, but we had enough dry spots to enjoy the setting. Village is fantastic. Church and night Gregorian singing a lasting impression, as were all of the little alley ways and the walks down to other villages. View, when the clouds were high enough, is great. Inside charm of the place is what one would expect from a fantasy Italian village place. Hosts were helpful but not intrusive.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and we were amazed with its beauty. The view is something one need to experience in person because it can not be described. The village is very authentic and typical Italien which was exactly what we were looking for. It's location is perfect. Far enough to miss all the tourists but no longer than 30 min by car to the fantastic city of Imperia that offers nice beaches, shops and connections to for example Monaco and Nice, where we enjoyed nice day trips. Up the mountain, you find beautiful nature and pittoresc villages, one need to make sure to stop along the way! As a big plus the hosts were very friendly and made our stay pleasurable. We would definitely return to this Ligurian dream!
