Please note that inside the home and at the village fountains, you can drink potable water from a natural mountain spring; Vallecchia has its own private aqueduct with water flowing directly from the source. The La Miniera open-air shopping center is a 10-minute drive away. On Wednesdays, there is a weekly market featuring clothing, home goods, and fresh food such as fruit, vegetables, and fresh fish. Near the town’s parking lot, there is a restaurant open on weekends where you can sample local cuisine. The surrounding area offers many trails for hiking or biking to explore the natural surroundings.
