About this apartment rental
We offer you the opportunity to stay in a modern and warm apartment in a chalet.
The property is composed of a living room of 20 m2 living room / kitchen and living room with sofa bed, opening onto a south-facing balcony of 5 m2 with views of the surrounding mountains + a mezzanine "sleeping area" + a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, induction hob) and a washing machine is available.
The night area is composed of an independent and comfortable bedroom with a double bed, and a mezzanine with two single beds overlooking the living room (access by miller's ladder, not recommended for very young children).
The apartment is located less than 10 minutes walk from the city center, lively in all seasons and offering a charming market on Saturdays, and has a private parking space.
Thônes is ideally located between lake and mountains, 20 minutes from the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Grand-Bornand, and Lake Annecy, offering multiple sports and nature activities throughout the year:
- winter sports at the nearby resorts of La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod / La Croix Fry (accessible by shuttles from Thônes)
- numerous walks and hikes of all levels, starting from Thônes and the Aravis, including the famous Tournette
- cycling with the famous Col de la Colombière, Col des Aravis and Col de la Croix-Fry
- numerous mountain bike circuits from Thônes and in the resorts of La Clusaz and Grand-Bornand
- climbing at the Sapey and La Colombière sites.
- via ferratas of La Clusaz and Grand-Bornand and via ferrata of Thônes, known to be the most demanding in Haute Savoie
- swimming and water sports at Lake Annecy (we offer you the loan of our paddle)
- canyoning
- paragliding: many spots nearby including La Forclaz, above Lake Annecy, or more confidential, such as in Grand-Bornand
- close to Annecy and close to Geneva (45 minutes) for cultural outings and city walks

Our host was WONDERFUL, far more than we could have hoped for. The home is beautiful, very clean, and was great for the two of us. Thones is a beautiful place with stunning mountain views just outside your window. There are numerous hiking trails, restaurants/cafes, and friendly people. We enjoyed every moment of our stay!!!

This appartment is very beautiful, convenient and all new. The hosts are very friendly and always available in need. Nice view from any window into the surrounding high mountains. Good location for hiking (even Mt. Blanc) or for city tours to Annecy, Geneve etc. Thones itself is a beautiful place with nice buildings, bistros, market and shopping facilities.
100% recommendation for fine holidays!
