Apartment NOT fit for purpose! Avoid!

I liked that the apartment was clean (at first) and that the apartment had all the basics.

What I didn't like about this was that I was told that check in was at 1500 on the day. The doors are code locked. It got to 1515, and there was no contact from the apartment owners with the codes or telling me that the apartment was ready. By 1540, I left the bar across the road to see the cleaners coming out. I told them I tried to contact them but they werent aware. They gave me the codes, my partner and I went into the apartment and everything looked lovely. We got changed, we went out. That evening when we got back at around 2130 to get to bed as we had to be up at 0600. We noticed how noisy it was. Given that we were on a main road, thats often to be expected. But only if the windows are open. This is where we noticed the next problem. The windows were defective and would not seal shut. This was not only a problem because we couldn't get a quiet night, but its also a security risk as even when "locked", the windows could be pulled open, meaning they could also be pushed open from the outside. This is especially dangerous given that its a ground floor apartment. The third issue was one that forced us to have to leave the apartment much earlier than expected. I got up at around 4am to use the toilet. Did what I had to do, flushed and went back to bed to lie down. An hour later, I realised it was pointless trying to get sleep, so I went back to the bathroom to go for a shower. I noticed that the floor was covered in water and HUMAN WASTE. The toilet was defective. At that point, we knew we had to get dressed and leave for the airport as we didnt have access to working facilities. I have tried several times since the day of our departure to contact the owners of this apartment in order to tell them about these serious issues and to get a refund, but up until the time of posting this review, I have recieved only two lines of WhatsApp dialogue from them of "?" and "Hi".

It was what I expected

The building itself was difficult to figure out if it was the correct one.. we walking around d block as we were unsure.. had to confirm this over WhatsApp. And door lock was a bit dodgy. We had to push very hard to open.. but once we sorted these issues it was fine.

Rubbish customer service

They cancelled my booking on the day, while I was flying to Alicante I received the message the moment my phone switched back on about an hour before I was due to arrive

Had no electricity from after 9pm clothes where stuck in washing machine till 3pm next missed flight for having to wait for them requested refund no reply
