We had to book a different accommodation straight on the first night. So we paid for something we never used. Please thi

Was close to the port

Upon arrival, we were shocked by the extremely poor and unsanitary condition of the property. While we had no issue with the fact that the house was an old, traditional Elban structure, the lack of any investment in its maintenance or cleanliness was unacceptable—especially considering the high price we paid. Below is a detailed list of issues we encountered: 1. Severe cleanliness problems: * Fecal stains were found under the toilet seat, which was also broken. * Mattresses and pillows were filthy and emitted a strong, unpleasant smell. * Blankets provided were dirty, smelly, and covered in hair from previous guests. * No toilet paper was provided at all. * The kitchen was not equipped and all surfaces were dirty, rusty, and covered in limescale. 2. Damaged furniture and safety concerns: * Almost every piece of furniture was damaged; cabinet doors came off when opened. * Electrical sockets were hanging from the walls, posing a serious safety risk. 3. Lack of basic comfort: * Despite being charged separately for bed linens and towels, we had to carry them ourselves to the accommodation. * The apartment had no heating whatsoever. My 74-year-old mother, who is seriously ill, was forced to sleep in her coat. * Noise levels were intolerable; the apartment is in a very loud building, and the neighbors’ stomping could be heard late into the night. 4. Customer experience: * Instead of enjoying our vacation, we lost an entire day dealing with stress, disappointment, and discomfort due to the condition of this property.

Insoddisfazione totale

L'unica nota positiva (ma che è anche un'arma a doppio taglio) è la posizione, si trova veramente in centro ma affacciandosi letteralmente sul porto i rumori che sentirete sono davvero assordanti. Vi consiglio vivamente dei tappi per le orecchie.

Purtroppo abbiamo riscontrato le seguenti problematiche: 1. Temperatura: La casa è estremamente calda e purtroppo dormire non è stato affatto semplice se non infattibile. 2. Igiene e pulizia: La pulizia generale dell'appartamento lascia a desiderare. In particolare, i ventilatori messi a disposizione sono completamente sporchi. Inoltre, la tovaglia è stata trovata sporca e arrotolata dentro un cassetto. 3. Sicurezza e privacy (Tapparelle): La tapparella della cucina è del tutto assente, il che rappresenta un problema sia di privacy che di sicurezza. Le altre tapparelle non si chiudono fino in fondo: affacciandosi l'appartamento sul porto con continuo passaggio di persone, questo crea notevoli disagi per la luce e per la nostra riservatezza. 4. Dotazioni mancanti o insufficienti: Abbiamo prenotato per 4 persone, ma le posate non sono sufficienti (sono presenti solo 3 coltelli e 4 forchette). Manca totalmente un tappeto per la doccia in bagno. 5. Funzionalità degli elettrodomestici: È quasi impossibile inserire il detersivo nella vaschetta della lavatrice, poiché il mobile ne ostruisce l'apertura. 6. Intonaco distaccato: è presente una crepa ben notevole nel soffitto del soggiorno (sembrerebbe addirittura un problema strutturale). Essendo un soggiorno per 4 persone, ci aspettavamo standard minimi di vivibilità, igiene e sicurezza diversi da quelli riscontrati. Abbiamo scritto testuali parole alla struttura per cercare di trovare una soluzione ma che alla fine non si è riuscita a trovare.

Siamo stati molto bene. Era ben pulito, ed ha una posizione vicino a tutto incredibile. L'agenzia aiuta nella prenotazione dei traghetti, ed eventualmente è possibile affittare tramite loro anche un motorino ad un prezzo conveniente. Consigliato!
