Terrible management. Dangerous shower.
Location and pool
1. I couldn’t find the property: The link to ‘Contact Property’ on Booking.com was useless - the Phone number was always unavailable and the Email always bounced back.
2. Details said I would be met at the property but when I arrived but no one there.
3. Other people told me I should know which apartment I’m in: I wasn’t told which one or the PIN for the key lock box. They asked their own property managers to get a phone number.
4. Eventually I got through and she was very abrupt. Said I made a problem about coming early and she had to fix it.
5. Told me to use code for key lock box but there was no key in it - it was under the mat! Very unsafe!
6. Inside were no information details, instructions for use of TV, WiFi, air con, no welcome note, etc.
7. No WiFi password - I had to get the other people to phone again for it and the woman was abrupt again.
8. No shower head holder- you have to hold the shower at the same time trying to wash your hair. Very frustrating.
9. Dirty cushions on the balcony: all covered in stains.
10. Later I was sitting outside when a woman appeared who said she was the Manager. She just walked past me and straight in without asking if I minded. I followed her in, she said she needed pillows and blankets and then walked straight into my bedroom without asking if I minded that either. She left me with just one pillow because she said she needed them in other properties!
11. She thought I was only staying for one night but I was here for 3. Concerning.
12. The walls are paper thin. I was woken at 1am by the people upstairs banging around.
13. The bathroom had a dangerous broken drain that I cut my foot on. Jagged pieces of metal sticking out right in the centre of the room.
14. In the living area there are exposed wires hanging from the ceiling.
15. Most dangerous of all: in the shower there is an electrical socket and it is hanging off the wall. The wires are exposed and in direct contact with the water from the shower. See photos.
