About this villa rental
It is the central theme of the Via Francigena, which runs from Canterbury Cathedral to the southernmost tip of the Italian peninsula, namely Santa Maria di Leuca.
Just a few meters from here, in the heart of the unspoiled Salento countryside, Tenuta Lavati welcomes you. It is situated on a 3,000-square-meter private estate featuring a swimming pool and three traditional trulli or pagliare, each of which is independent and equipped with all necessary amenities.
Our goal is to allow our guests to enjoy an experience that is as authentic as possible. That’s why you’ll find yourself immersed in a bucolic setting, filled with the long-forgotten scents of fig trees, olive trees, and a few daffodils.
As for the structure, the terms “trullo” or “pagliara” refer to a traditional Salento building, characterized by the small stone bricks that make up its exterior facade.
There are three such structures on the estate, arranged in the following order:
1. The first (“Maria”) consists of a small living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower stall and air conditioning. It opens onto its own patio framed by two olive trees and furnished with a table, chairs, and garden furniture;
2. The second (“Cecilia”) features a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a shower stall, and air conditioning. This one also has its own furnished patio;
3. The third (“Teresa”) is the largest and features a living area with a sofa bed, kitchen, table, fireplace, and air conditioning. Adjacent to this is a bathroom and a double bedroom located on the lower level, accessible via just a few steps. It overlooks an outdoor area centered around a fig tree, under which guests can relax.
Finally, there is a large private pool shared by the three units, equipped with a beach umbrella and lounge chairs.
There are also parking spaces available for guests on the estate.
Although located in the heart of a typical, peaceful countryside, the most famous beaches along the Leucano coast are just a few minutes’ drive away.
It is therefore ideal for hosting a group of friends or families.
