The Rouge Cottage villa, located in a quiet area on the Sanfrè hillside in the Roero region and surrounded by a large garden with green lawns, offers couples, families, and even groups of friends the chance to enjoy pleasant, relaxing moments.
It’s the ideal starting point for visiting nearby attractions such as Cherasco, the “city of snails”; Bra, the capital of Slow Food; Alba, where the international white truffle fair is held every year; and the beautiful city of Turin.
The villa, with its red-brick facades and white lattice windows, takes its name from the characteristic English “cottage” style.
The property offers a three-bedroom attic apartment with a bathroom, as well as an open-concept space on the first floor featuring a double bed, bathroom, sofa, fireplace, kitchen, and dining room.
During your stay, you’ll have access to every well-equipped corner of the large garden, such as the sun deck with an elegant 8x4 infinity pool and a small side beach area, the barbecue area and wood-fired oven under a large grapevine pergola, known as a “topia” in the Piedmontese dialect—and you can also pick and enjoy both produce from the personally tended vegetable garden and seasonal fruit from the trees on the property.
Just a short walk from the property, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the Roero woods, where you can enjoy long hikes or bike rides along the numerous trails in the surrounding forests.
