Vicenza is a beautiful city—small but rich in history and culture. It’s graced by the architectural works of Andrea Palladio, surrounded by nature trails, and renowned for its excellent cuisine. Vicenza is also a strategic hub for reaching many beautiful destinations in the Veneto region. By train, you can reach must-see destinations in the Veneto such as Padua (20 minutes by train), Venice (45 minutes), and Verona (30 minutes) at very affordable prices if you choose to travel on regional lines.
You’ll also be very close to the magical Lake Garda and the Vicentine Pre-Alps if you love nature, hiking, and scenic walks. And if you’re a wine lover, in less than an hour you’ll be in the Prosecco hills of Valdobbiadene (in the province of Treviso) and those of Valpolicella (Verona), home to numerous wineries where you can learn about wine production and taste local specialties.
You can enjoy the famous white asparagus from Bassano del Grappa, the mild Asiago cheese, bigoli pasta with duck ragù, and the world-famous baccalà alla vicentina.
We’re always available to help you plan itineraries and schedules to make your vacation even more exciting.
