Great!

Great place to stay. Close to Key parts of the town

Decent

The location was good for the price. The bathroom was nice.

The beds aren't very comfortable. The foam mattress is on wooden slats, not box springs. When we arrived, we had to fix some of the wooden slats that had fallen down. It's located on a busy road, so we could occasionally hear the road.

OK but could use some improvements

It was clean with great location for exploring Lake Como.

The apartment does not look like the photos. The appliances and sheets are well worn, the door lock finicky, and the button to open the microwave often doesn't work.

Terrible staff, uncleaned room, risky 150€ deposit on external website

Nothing good, terrible stay Terrible staff Uncleaned room Risky and large deposit on external website

Quick summary: Awful and rude unhelpful staff “Safety deposit” on external website of 150€ Bad cleaning Bad help New guests arriving early without us getting a notice The photos attached are from the “cleaned” apartment we came. There was a lot more but I could only attach 5 photos Explanation: Of our interrail trip, where we have stayed in 25 different locations, this has been the worst of the bunch. The place itself is not too bad, but the staff and scenario they put us in was absolutely terrible. First off, when you book this place, you have to make a deposit of 150 euro, on an external website. This is not allowed with booking.com, as this is how many scams are done, and such a deposit can done directly via booking.com. I can see some other reviews have written this to booking who then forced them to stop doing this deposit externally, but it seems as though they have begun doing it again. When writing to the staff about our worries, they were not understanding and quite rude. We then paid the deposit so we could get the instructions to get in. We arrived late and got into our apartment, which was COMPLETELY TRASHED AND NOT CLEANED AT ALL. We tried writing to them on 3 platforms, calling them and they didn’t respond. After an hour, someone finally wrote and let us use the apartment next door, due to some mixup on their end. This resulted in us being in bed around 1 in the morning, and using upwards of two hours to settle in due to us having to unpack, try to make the best of the trashed apartment, try to contact them for way too long, and then having to pack up again and move. The day after, the staff answered all our messages with just “are you still locked out?” And “oh I can see my partner get you into the other place”. No apology or anything. Things like this can happen and we understand this, but the way they handled the whole situation was just not up to par.

Nothing

Comfy bed, coffee maker, communication with managers

No air-con. It was exceptionally hot (33 degrees) in the apartment and difficult to cool down at night because the traffic was very loud. The fan was good, but we really couldn't spend much time in the apartment. Also we were surprised that through Booking.com we had to authorise a €150 damage guarantee.
