Generally pleasant but very tight spaces

It was clean and had everything we needed. Secure area and everything worked well.

The flat we stayed had some maintenance issues, loads of peeling walls and water stains with broken drawers and the toilets were so small and very cramped. Our heights ranged from 5’4 to 6’2 and it was really tight especially by the toilets sink which could easily be a hazard.

Don't stay here

At first sight, this property appears clean, modern and well appointed, however appearances can be very deceptive. It is obvious that the developers of this group of properties used poor designers and unskilled contractors throughout. In detail the apartment door opens directly into the living and kitchen area. There are here the first signs that contractors are inexperienced kitchen fitters with no knowledge of how to install corner kitchen units. The uprights should be attached to one of the two doors and open with it or else the corner becomes inaccessible. Also there is plinth level lighting, but the lamps are installed at different levels. There is some cutlery provided but not any cooking tools or a sharp knife to cut fruit or stir anything. There are no oven gloves to remove anything cooked in the oven also no kitchen paper roll. The TV has no antenna feed, so viewing is via apps, which means that you can’t see what’s on any other channel. What’s more, subtitles are permanently on and won’t switch off on the remote control. However, although these are just niggling it shows the general lack of thought and care. The real issues are in the bedrooms and ensuites. In neither bedroom is there anywhere to unpack and hang or put away clothes, meaning that you are living out of the suitcase, except there is nowhere to put the suitcase other than the floor or the bed, which then has to be moved to the floor when going to bed. In the front bedroom the nightstand is at the foot of the bed, unreachable – there isn’t room to have it next to the bed. The toilet within this ensuite is so close to the wall that it is difficult to sit on, the toilet toll holder is not fitted properly and has punctured the plasterboard wall. The basin is too small to be of use other than hand washing – my wife who used this bedroom washed in the kitchen sink. It was new and clean.

The bathrooms were far too small. I could not stand up and use the toilet because of the raking ceiling and the proximity of the handbasin. The handbasin was the size of a cereal bowl. I had to sit on the toilet to have a shave. I could barely turn around in the shower it was that cramped. The toilet seat was broken. There was no hair dryer, but there were hair dryer attachments. No cork screw
