Hotel Britannia Esbjerg staff are excellent, polite friendly helpful and attentive, spotless Hotel and surrounding area, breakfast and all food was excellent at the Hotel.
Wonderful surroundings good bars and restaurants.
Plenty of history to discover. Fano Island across on a short ferry trip is a lovely place to visit .

The Hotel Britannia is excellent in most way one would want a hotel to be excellent! Large room with a very comfortable bed, and good bathroom.
The restaurant/bar area is cozy, and with a good selection of food and beverages.
(I asked for my steak to be cooked medium-rare. It was cooked to absolute perfection.)
The staff I encountered throughout my stay were polite and friendly. My only reservation is that, at check-in, the receptionist didn't give very good instructions on getting my car to the hotel's parking area (she did put this into her system, and I paid 100kr). But when I went to collect my car, I realised I was in the wrong parking area. On reflection, I think that her familiarity with the area overlooked my lack of familiarity. Had she been clearer as to which area was the hotel's designated parking area, I would obviously have parked correctly. (The car park enforcers in Denmark are notoriously 'enthusiastic', so, will I now receive a fine? I await the e:mail...)
