The rooms were cool and large and airy with roomy bathrooms (although one of our rooms did not have a shower curtain). Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent but it was perhaps a bit overpriced. Tennis courts were well maintained and no problem accessing them. The pool area was well maintained but the pool was quite small. The birds were nice at breakfast but the wasps were annoying. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Chateau property was great,.. the golf team, spa team and Tres Fresques restaurant staff were all top notch, everyone was very helpful and friendly. A nod to the housekeeping staff, they always had smiles and were very efficient and thorough. However, we rated 'service' lower because of the Bistro staff. Two older men in particular, who worked many hours in the Bistro, were overly rude and insulting, so much so, we went to great lengths to go off property so we wouldn't have to endure their awful service. Nevertheless, we would love to come back to the property someday and refer it to our friends.
