Only a block away from train, it is a great spot to stay...and only 10 mins from the cruise terminal.
Rooms are well air-conditioned and practically new.
Breakfast included was delicious...and dinner at the restaurant was also very good. We had lamb shanks and awesome orange pie.

The Port square hotel is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at. I read a number of reviews that were good and fair but I'm giving this a great one.. we were steps away from the train terminal which provided access to the hotel from the airport. All we had to do is take the blue line which is train three straight from the airport to the Piraeus terminal and cross the street to the hotel. We were also able to go to the center of Athens and two places outside the center of Athens cheaply easily from the train station.The staff at the hotel we're very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet which is especially important and clean. We could actually walk to the port to get on the ferries to go to Porto. Which on the high speed ferries are about 1 hour away. Just don't miss the last ferry of the day like we did. Then you're stuck on the island overnight. Still a good time though. And in addition to that we walked to the cruise port where we started our cruise from the hotel. He can't get a better place to stay than this. Also, you have a bunch of places you can go and eat.

Our stay was only one night in between coming back from a cruise and going to the airport the next morning. Beautiful hotel, both the public areas and the guestroom. We were in a suite with a massive balcony. Wish we were there longer to enjoy it. The bed was very comfortable, beautiful bedding and thick, soft bath towels. The area around the hotel was better than I had read about. Yes, it has some grittiness from the port but not bad. We walked from the hotel to neighboring areas around the port and had a lovely meal overlooking the water. We never felt unsafe walking around. The breakfast in the hotel was very nice. We were there right at 6:30 and everything was hot and fresh. A wide assortment of breakfast items. The only slightly negative experience was that it was a bit difficult to get a taxi to the airport. Most only want the local runs. The hotel suggested we should have ordered one the night before. We were able to get an Uber fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
