Beautiful historic hotel located in the "old castle" portion of the castle of the King of Navarre. The initial building dates back to Roman times and was add to by the Visigoths and again in the 13th century. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and right on the center square of the town. Staff are very friendly. The superior rooms we stayed in were individually
decorated and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel, especially if you love staying in unique historic locations.

The remodeled parador is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious as well as the bathroom. Our bathroom had a problem with the bidet and the maintenance person could not fix it. Too bad bcs that is one feature that is disappearing in European hotels and I was very pleased to see it in the parador.
The food in the restaurant was very good and so was the service. I must say that the service in the cafeteria/bar was beyond excellent. The staff was so diligent and sweet. I love this parador and will recommend it with my eyes closed. When in this area, this parador is IT.
