The location was perfect for walking to the local attractions & particularly convenient for me arriving by train. Despite the central location it was quiet. Room was very clean & spacious. A comfortable arm chair would have been appreciated, as would accessibility to more English speaking tv channels - there was only BBC news being repeated. Eurosport would be good. Slight problem in the shower as the water was very slow to drain away.
Unfortunately the main drawback was the lack of a lift - not to save me walking- it was very arduous to heave a 20kg suitcase up 64 stone steps, one at a time. I saw other guests struggling with their luggage on the stairs during my stay. There must be space for a small shaft somewhere in that large building. This is the only feature which might deter me from staying there again.
All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.

The room was clean, spacious and serviced every day. It provided good value accommodation and was ideally located around five minutes from the station. There is a tram stop outside and a short walk through the park and you can get to shops, bars and restaurants. It doesn't have a lift and so bear this in mind when booking. I would stay here again.

Very nice place to stay. Hotel is close to train station and Old Town. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Lovely big double room. Very comfortable bed. About a minute's walk from the Hotel Polonia reception desk for check in. Close to both the main train station and main square.
