It’s ok for a short stay. This location is very close to Mount St. Michel. It has a trial leading to there.

Auberge de la Baie is the closest hotel on the mainland to Mont Saint Michel. It was easy to walk to the bus lot from the hotel. The hotel had a nice breakfast and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful. When we realized that there were not restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, the staff helped us order a delivery from a restaurant. Added bonus, there is a sheep farm nearby with some very cute lambs.

We loved everything about our stay here. It is right across the street from a pathway that leads you to the bridge over to Mont Saint Michel. You can walk the pathway and then take a free shuttle which is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. We loved the walk and enjoyed seeing all the grazing sheep.
This was the only hotel on our 10 day trip in France at which we purchased the breakfast. It was very reasonably priced and everything was delicious.
We loved seeing all the sheep herded right past our window in the evening and then again the next morning.
I would definitely recommend staying at Auberge de la Baie!
