Last night, I ran into a young man from Japan. It was past 11 PM, and he couldn't find the entrance to the hostel at the McDonald's downstairs; there was no staff on duty to assist him. He asked me for help. After confirming that he had a reservation, I let him in. I kindly tried to help him find a bed so he could check himself in and handle the formalities at the front desk the next day, but he was extremely rigid and panicked, eventually fleeing the scene.
This hostel is truly excellent, but it requires guests to have some communication skills and a sense of self-reliance.
