Be aware that there are two Motel One locations in Berlin that are very close to each other and both near Alexanderplatz station. Double-check your reservation before walking to the hotel with luggage—we accidentally went to the wrong one first! Having seen the lobby of both, I can say the lobby furniture at the Mitte location appeared a bit nicer.
We stayed at Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz. Overall, it was a nice hotel with helpful staff and quick elevators. The only downside was that some of the lobby furniture looked like it had seen better days, with cushions coming apart, seams undone, or pieces not sitting properly.
As with many hotels, be aware that photos can make rooms appear larger than they are. We booked a king-size bed, but it was actually two twin beds pushed together, and the seam between them was very noticeable. The room was also quite small. For just my husband and me, we had very little extra space once our luggage was in the room. The bathroom was similarly compact, although the shower itself was a good size. The water temperature was generally good, but the shower had occasional bursts of extremely hot water.
We only stayed a short time, and for a 2–3 night stay, the room worked fine. However, if you’re planning a longer visit or traveling with more luggage, I would recommend booking a larger room if available. It was also super close to many transit lines which was great. Overall, a solid stay in a convenient location.

Very good hotel in a great location. Beds were very comfortable. Bars were nice. Only wish tv had apps(Netflix, YouTube) but other than that would definitely recommend.
