Yes, the place is a bit run down (worn carpeting, surface damage to bathroom cabinets, etc.), but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location is excellent. And it was very cheap!

The location of this hotel is outstanding which mitigates the age of the room and furnishings. It isn’t posh by any means yet the homey feeling and hot water worked very well for us. The Anvers metro station (on line 2) is very close and easy to navigate. Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur are in walking distance. We enjoyed staying here.

Handy if looking for a budget hotel. Decent sized room. Location seemed a bit run down. TV didn't work, and we didn't have hot water. A fan was provided which came in handy with the heat. The windows would open, but you had to be careful as the room we were in had lots of pigeons on the other side. Staff were alright, had to wait for them to appear for when we left as nobody was at reception.
