This is the dream realized in the late 1960s by the Tondi della Mura family, owners of Tenuta Belvedere. Through the renovation of the farmhouse—to which new wings have been added over the years—they sought to create a comfortable home nestled between the countryside and the village, surrounded by the greenery of olive trees and close to the sea.

Tenuta Belvedere is a historic country residence that began as a farmhouse (masseria) for growing vine cuttings used in vineyard planting and for raising cattle. Its strategic location makes it the perfect destination for a peaceful and comfortable stay, and the ample free parking on the premises means you can leave your car behind. In fact, the estate is located 250 meters from Otranto’s waterfront, its beaches, and the historic center with its restaurants and points of interest—all within a few minutes’ walk. Just a few dozen meters from the entrance gate, you can shop at a well-stocked supermarket; equally close is a rotisserie offering traditional takeout dishes, perfect for dining comfortably under the home’s pergola. If, on the other hand, you decide to explore the Salento region, the estate is situated at a key hub for reaching any other destination by car.
