About this house rental
"A little paradise" as holidaymakers say after their stay in this haven of tranquility in the middle of nature in an olive grove of a thousand trees, located between Ile-Rousse and Saint Florent, near the beaches of Ostriconi and Lozari, with a large food store and various shops (sports and fashion items, stationery, bakery, pastry shop, caterer, ...). In this vast estate of about sixty hectares, you can walk according to your hiking desires in the maquis or on the banks of the Ostriconi river and rest by the 120 square meter swimming pool (12 x 10 meters, depth 1.6 meters) and its solarium, where only birds and lizards will keep you company. Parking and bowling alley in the shade of an old oak tree more than a hundred years old. House completely restored in 2019 with all the modern comforts: large living room of more than 40 m², full kitchen (electric hob, traditional oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, traditional fridge-freezer, "American" fridge-freezer with fresh water and ice dispenser, electric plancha on the paved terrace, reversible air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room, shower rooms and toilets in each bedroom, terrace covered by pergola.
As part of sustainable development, the Mill has recently been equipped with a ground-based (and concealed!) installation of photovoltaic panels to provide part of the electrical energy needs.
Located in the centre of the Ile-Rousse, Ponte-Leccia, Saint Florent triangle, the Moulin de l'Ostriconi is an ideal starting point for traditional excursions: Agriates desert (beaches of Saleccia, Lotu, Gighnu, Malfacco), Cap-Corse (and its lobsters at Centuri), villages of Urtaca (and its medieval houses), Lama and its film festival, Pietralba, (and its traditional shops), Novella (and its rural home), Asco (and its baths in the river at the foot of Monte Cinto), Corte, Bastia, Calvi, villages of the Balagne corniche (Belgodère, Speloncato, Aregno, Pigna and its craftsmen, San Antonino classified as the most beautiful village in France, ...). Here is enough to fill your camera with magnificent unforgettable landscapes.
