Perfect any time of year! In summer, the massive granite walls on the first floor keep the space pleasantly cool, while the wood-burning stoves provide cozy warmth in winter. Relax in the covered hot tub in a semi-open barn with a view of the garden, or enjoy the sauna against a historic backdrop inside. All, of course, for your exclusive use. Experience an unforgettable vacation!
Our approximately 200-year-old former farmhouse offers a unique cabin atmosphere for families or groups. But the house is also perfect for a romantic getaway for two! During the renovation, we made sure that even just two people would feel comfortable and not feel lost.

Old stone house in Grainet, Lower Bavaria, in the Bavarian Forest
—accommodates up to 12 people (max. 8 adults)
- Dogs welcome (max. 6, number depending on size)
- 3 separate bedrooms (+sofa bed in the living room)
- private covered and heated hot tub for exclusive use (year-round, daily 11 a.m.–9 p.m.)
- private indoor sauna for exclusive use (year-round)
- additional electric stove, wood-burning stove, and wood-fired oven in the living room
- Freezer
- Dishwasher and washing machine
- Wi-Fi
- Freshly made beds
- Hand towels, shower towels, and sauna towels included
- Electricity, heating, and firewood included
- Doctor, dentist, hair salon, and grocery stores within walking distance
- Hot tub with automatic dosing system for pH and chlorine
- Fenced-in garden, approx. 140 cm high, for exclusive use
Outside, you’ll find two wooden decks with a hot tub, seating area, lounge chairs, a lawn, and a separate cottage garden where you can “just sit and relax.”
