Beautifully renovated unit in the center of the 6th arrondissement. Walk to tons of restaurants, galleries and shops. Cozy but well appointed. Lovely finishes. Amazing air-conditioning - which is really appreciated.

Fantastic location, but undisclosed construction and poor host communication significantly impacted our stay.

The location was excellent and was definitely the best part of the property. We loved being able to walk to so many of the places we wanted to visit in Paris. The apartment itself was spacious enough for our family, and the interior was generally clean when we arrived.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay. Most concerning was major renovation work taking place in the building that was never disclosed to us before booking, or arrival. Two mornings around 8:00 AM, workers began sanding the floors directly outside our apartment. The hallway became covered in sawdust and construction debris, to the point that we were covering our faces as we walked through it, while the worker doing the sanding was wearing a large respirator. When we returned one afternoon, the floors had been varnished and we were told we could not walk on them, leaving us unable to access the apartment we had paid for, for almost an hour. Once we were finally allowed through, the varnish fumes were extremely strong and persisted for many hours. This was particularly problematic because Paris was experiencing a major heatwave during our stay. We had specifically chosen this property, and paid considerably more for it, because it had central air conditioning. To make the apartment tolerable after the varnishing, we had to open all the windows for ventilation, which allowed the extreme heat inside and defeated one of the primary reasons we had chosen this property. The common areas looked and felt like an active construction zone, with tools, equipment, sawdust and debris throughout. The view directly outside the master bedroom was of an unfinished work area filled with construction supplies and debris. Inside the apartment, some things felt unfinished or poorly maintained, including living-room curtains that were partially falling down. Perhaps most disappointing though was the complete lack of communication from the host when we actually needed assistance. I messaged him while the construction issue was actively occurring and never received a response or acknowledgment. Booking.com subsequently attempted to contact the property regarding our concerns and also received no response.

Only negative was I didn't know how to turn Netflix into English for the kids. But we are in France so im not expecting the tv to be in English. So its not really a negative.

Great Paris Apartment

The location was fantastic and the apartment was nice, new and had all the services needed. It was a very a great place to have as our base in Paris.

The apartment is newly renovated and others in the building and next door a being renovated. Bit of building dust around. Understand that is a reality outside the control of the owners.

L'immeuble est un peu dégradé sans ascensseur et les escaliers sont le moins dire compliqués !!!
