Welcome to the Friesenhus vacation home—a lovingly renovated gem in the heart of Jever. This historic, listed building underwent a complete renovation in 2024 and offers
120 square meters of space for 6 people and your dog. It captivates with its bright and inviting layout, which immediately creates a sense of comfort.

The spacious living room features large windows that let in plenty of light. A cozy sofa nook and an armchair invite you to enjoy relaxing evenings in front of the TV, while the dining area in the same room is perfect for sharing meals together. Your dog is also well taken care of: a lovingly designed dog area with a bed offers your four-legged friend a lovely spot to be with the family. For younger guests, there’s a play area that’s sure to delight them.

The living room leads out to the well-maintained garden, which features a small but charming patio equipped with outdoor furniture—perfect for sunny days and balmy evenings outdoors. The hallway is equipped with a shoe rack and a coat rack, which offer plenty of space for jackets and shoes.

The kitchenette, located a bit off to the side, offers everything you need for self-catering. A large refrigerator with a freezer compartment provides ample storage space for your groceries.

The spacious bathroom on the first floor features a bright, modern design and includes a walk-in shower and a bathtub, perfect for relaxing moments. We’ve even thought of the little ones: a changing table provides extra convenience.

A beautiful, solid-wood staircase leads you to the upper floor, where three bedrooms and an additional bathroom await you. The two bedrooms are equipped with high-quality box-spring beds and wardrobes, while the children’s room, featuring a bunk bed and another play area, offers space for two additional guests. The additional bathroom on the upper floor features another shower and impresses with its brightness and modern design.
A crib and a high chair are available free of charge.

Upstairs, you can also admire the old wooden beams of this historic, protected house, which lend the space a special atmosphere. The entire house is furnished with great attention to detail, so that modern amenities and historic elements blend harmoniously to create a unique, beautiful living atmosphere.

Jever Castle, a magnificent Renaissance structure, stands majestically in the town center and tells the story of an eventful past. Jever is a cultural hub with numerous museums, galleries, and theaters. Visit the castle museum to learn more about the region’s history, or find inspiration at one of the many art exhibitions. The city offers a diverse program of cultural events and festivals throughout the year.

The municipal guest fee (visitor’s tax) is a public levy and is not included in the offer. The guest tax is levied and calculated separately based on various factors that are not known to us at the time of booking. The amount of the guest tax is determined by the respective price schedule of the relevant municipality, as well as factors such as the season, length of stay, number and age of all travelers, and, if applicable, any severe disabilities and accompanying persons. After you make your reservation, we will ask you for this information and can only then calculate the guest tax due.
