Price was on par with what you'd expect in Paris, especially in this location. It's perfect!

This place is all about the location. It's perfect, just a short walk from the Seine and Notre Dame. There are many wonderful cafes and bars nearby, and a great bakery. The host was accommodating and had the keys delivered upon arrival. Communication was excellent and the room was very comfortable. We booked parking in advance at a garage and paid about 45 Euros for three nights.

Disappointing experience; not suitable for a comfortable stay.

The host was welcoming at the beginning and handed over the keys herself.

The building has a strange layout, more like a shop than an apartment. The front entrance features an old iron door typical of a shop, which wasn't clear from the pictures. It's right on street level, so it's very noisy from people passing by. There are many stairs leading down to the underground bedroom, which was especially challenging for my elderly parents. The shower lacks privacy due to its glass door, making it uncomfortable to use. During our visit to Paris (end of May/start of June), it was cold during the night, and the available heater couldn't warm either the underground bedroom or the semi-open sleeping area. My mom had to sleep uncomfortably on the couch to be closer to the heater. I asked the host if she could give us another heater, but the extra heater was old, smelled bad when turned on, and seemed unsafe, so we couldn't use it. After an uncomfortable night, we immediately booked another place and left the next day. When I tried discussing a partial refund with the host, she ignored my messages, and communication was difficult due to her limited English. The location is close to Notre Dame Cathedral, but not convenient for other attractions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Main issues: * Very noisy street-level location * Old, shop-style iron entrance * Many stairs to underground bedroom * Shower with little privacy (glass door) * Ineffective heating (cold and likely uncomfortable in heat) * Noise from adjacent staircase (there was a large door in the living room, seemingly connected to a shared staircase, and we could hear people passing by.) * The apartment wasn't very clean. * Few and inconveniently placed power outlets

Spacious Apartment near Norte Dame and the Seine

Location was fabulous. Notre Dame is basically at one end of the street! There are restaurants and shops nearby as well. The apartment is spacious and the downstairs bedroom stays nice and cool at night. TJ e apartment has everything you need. Bed was very comfortable.

You have to be careful using the shower due to its placement.

L'emplacement

L'accueil de la propriétaire (ou la mère du propriétaire ?), peu aimable. Par contre son fils l'était. Le wifi est tombé en panne le 2e jour et il est rapidement venu s'en occuper. Le fait que le logement soit de plein-pied dans une ancienne boutique ( avec la chambre à coucher à la cave, accès par un escalier dangereux). Ce n'est pas clairement stipulé dans le descriptif et les photos ne permettent pas de s'en rendre compte (ont-elles été éclaircies?...) Le logement est sombre et pas moderne du tout.
