Hello, hello, and welcome to the spacious vacation apartment “Buhne 73,” which offers plenty of space and every comfort for up to 6 people and is located at the very southernmost tip of Wenningstedt. Strictly speaking, of course, this means that this 4-room vacation apartment is very close to the small, tranquil Nordwäldchen forest that separates Wenningstedt and Westerland—so the island’s main town and the beach are also not far away. The apartment is located on the upper floor and attic of a recently built 5-unit building; it faces west and even has its own balcony with an attractive glass railing. Not only is this house beautifully situated a bit off the beaten path with a view of a horse pasture and a small wood, but it’s also thoughtfully furnished: very clean, bright, airy, and free of unnecessary frills—in short, it has that fresh island feel and is truly lovely. Three double beds, a fully equipped kitchen that’s seamlessly integrated into the living area, a bathroom, and a separate half-bath with a sink, as well as a washer and dryer and a private parking space, make “Buhne 73” the perfect choice for your vacation. Where does the name come from? “Buhnen” were the old—and, as it turns out today, useless—concrete or wooden breakwaters that are now being removed from the west coast, and the “73” simply comes from the apartment’s house number.
