With some upgrades this could be a winner

It was spacious and the location good

It needs attention, just some inexpensive repairs would make the world of difference. Toilet seat and a chair broken. The couch/fold out bed badly needs replacing it’s no use as either.

Great location, overpriced and not worth the money.

Beautiful old building, super clean, reasonably functional kitchen. Sleeps 6 (2BR, 3DB. Some might be reconfigured as 2x singles, but no additional linen/bedding.) Good Monoprix supermarket 350m. Metro, buses, shops, banks, bakeries 100-300 m away. Great location. Plenty of hot water, but demand fed boiler is noisy. Really handy to public transport, good bars and restaurants. Lively Blvd Bonne Nouvelle, and rue Poissonière

The noise. The LOUD cars, the NOISY passers-by at 2-3 am, the foot traffic on the stairs, the audible voices from the neighbours, the SCREAMING KIDS from the school over the road. There is double glazing, but it doesn't work and one window can't be locked (potential security issue). There is a lot of detritus in the apartment: removal would make it better instantly. Crap in the cupboards that is irrelevant to your stay, lots of usable crockery, but some with chips or hairline cracks (unhygienic) could go, wooly mammoth cushions on top of wardrobe that serve no purpose. Noisy boiler in kitchen Apartment needs maintenance. Leaning fridge door, kitchen chairs with damaged vinyl or seats that fall off, corroded bathroom plug that doesn't work, toilet seat that is not fixed on one side, water leak stains on th.e ceiling require painting. Bathroom door that has been replaced but hasn't been painted, with a door bolt that doesn't close properly. A front door that doesn't open fully, and a toilet door that also doesn't open fully because there is a poorly placed cupboard at ceiling level in the entry foyer that conceals a water meter. What on earth were they thinking of? Bathroom shower drain that smells sulphurous and doesn't drain properly. Furniture is tired, budget quality and needs upgrading. Kitchen looks good in photos, but is probably more than 15 years old now, and showing signs of wear. Kickboards are crumbling and showing water damage. Cramped conditions Although it sleeps up to 6, there are only 4 kitchen chairs and two stools. We had 4 people staying and it was CRAMPED. Six people in this place is a farce. Noisy equipment with inadequate window treatments. Boiler in the kitchen is noisy: clicking from piezoelectric ignition and puff of gas as it lights is tolerable, but the simmering of the boiler is LOUD and it comes on every 7-12 minutes. If you're sleeping in the sofa bed, you won't get much rest.

Good location, decent apartment, nice hosts.

The location was great. Quiet at night and with lots of shops nearby during the day for fresh bread and groceries. It's also easy to get to the train station. The hosts were very clear with directions on how to pick up the keys (it's a couple short blocks away), and we're responsive as needed.

The kitchen is a little bit of a mess and we had to give it a cleaning before using anything. The toilet closet is incredibly small but the separate bathroom for showering and cleaning up is spacious. One of the bedroom closets is used for cleaning equipment, so essentially there's only 1 closet for the entire apartment.

Great location and well-equipped, but not clean and very noisy.

The location was great and the apartment was very well equipped. There was plenty of towels, toilet paper, shower gels, etc. Check-in and check-out process was relatively easy. The host, or rather the agency managing the apartment, is available and responds quickly.

We arrived at the apartment at 11 PM, and after a long journey to Paris, we couldn’t wait to take a shower and go to bed. Although we had mentioned it earlier, the third bed (the sofa) was not set up, so we had to unfold it ourselves. Additionally, there were no pillows for that bed, so we had to take them from the other beds. Other than that, our friend was the first to take a shower and had to endure freezing water because the boiler was turned off. We had to figure that out and turn it on ourselves. The apartment is quite old, all the doors creak, the furniture is relatively worn out, and the walls are unbelievably thin. We could hear everything happening in the staircase, the neighboring apartment, and on the street. On top of all that, the apartment was in a rather dirty state when we arrived. We understand that the furniture is old, but at the very least, the dust on the bed’s headboard could have been wiped off. Furthermore, in the shower, we found long blonde hairs on the shampoo tray.

La posizione, la tranquillità della strada

Il servizio di consegna chiavi presso l'hotel Aboukir: ci ha consegnato le chiavi sbagliate ed abbiamo dovuto contattare noi il gestore per ottenere quelle giuste. Anche alla riconsegna delle chiavi c'è stato lo stesso problema: abbiamo dovuto lasciare le chiavi in casa. Inoltre, la caldaia a gas dopo 2 docce si inceppa e non produce più acqua calda: bisogna spegnerla e riavviarla ( come ci è stato detto dal gestore), ma è una scocciatura. Bisogna sistemare la caldaia.
