Ski resorts are just a short drive away; our local mountain, the Oberfrauenwald/Geiersberg, is only 2 km from us. The Adalbert Stifter Trail—a disused railroad track—can be used in winter as a cross-country ski trail and in summer as an ideal bike path all the way to the Czech Republic.
