The area also has plenty to offer culturally: Visit the famous fairy-tale castle Neuschwanstein, which is just a stone’s throw away, or explore the historic towns of Füssen and Schwangau. Awesome host, beautiful scenery, and a great staging point to visit historical landmarks. (Neuschwanstein 15 min, Linderhof Palace 45 min, and other great day trips). Safe and quiet town with an amazing bakery within walking distance. Thanks again Nicholas for your hospitality and the birthday gift for my Mother!
