Our mountain farm, the Klauslehen, is located in Ramsau—Germany’s first mountaineering village—nestled between the impressive peaks of the Steinberg, the Reiteralm, the Hochkalter, and the Watzmann. This setting offers not only breathtaking views but also undisturbed tranquility and an idyllic, natural environment.
From here, you can enjoy nature to the fullest—the Enchanted Forest is just a short walk away, and both Lake Hintersee and the Berchtesgaden National Park are in the immediate vicinity. The Klausbach Valley, a starting point for numerous hikes, and the expansive alpine pasture landscape are just a five-minute drive away. Whether you’re looking for a long hike, a mountain tour, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature—the surrounding area offers something for everyone.
Despite its seclusion, the conveniences of daily life are right nearby: You’ll find a bakery, a supermarket, and a selection of restaurants and cafés in and around the village of Ramsau.

Our newly renovated vacation apartment on the first floor offers you a comfortable home with a very special, personal charm. The host and farmer, Anton, has designed the apartment with great dedication and handmade details, so you can enjoy both tradition and modern comforts here.
The apartment is ideal for up to 4 people and features two cozy bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can prepare your own meals to your heart’s content—it’s equipped with a dishwasher and a coffee maker, among other things. The bathroom features a shower and a toilet.
From the balcony, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding area—the perfect place to wind down at the end of the day.
Please note that we do not offer breakfast service. However, you’ll find a bakery and cafés nearby that serve regional specialties. We’d also be happy to provide you with more information about local dining and drinking options.
