Amazing!

Spacious, clean and near the centre. The welcome box was a nice touch.

Nothing.

3 / 10

Nice location but do not expect cleanliness, like other owner-owned places.

The location was excellent-right across the river from the old town.

The place was not clean. There were ants on the kitchen counter and the bathroom counter. There is some type of black mold that runs all across the shower stall. The AC unit was set at 28.8 degrees and we could not get it cooler. We came on bikes and were sternly told bikes were strictly prohibited from being in the room EVEN though they said there was no common area to park them and they could not vouch for the safety of the bikes. I will say Isabella, an employee, was super. She allowed is to store our bikes a 20 minute walk away at her office.

How to get scammed in Italy.

Please avoid and report. It's a SCAM.

It's a SCAM. They only allow access to the property if more money is paid (150-200 EUR). There is nothing stated in their policy about any extra charge They threatened that if we do not pay the extra money in 24 hours we would loose the reservation and the money that was paid. There is no hope of getting any of that money back as the payment was made outside official channels. The Booking confirmation was very clear that no additional payment is justified and that we should not pay through other channels. Sadly, B00KING did not reply any of the complaints and closed the case with no resolution. We filed complaints with ECC and the Italian ICLG. Please do the same if you have bene scammed like this. We can't encourage these practices. We are not in the 1980's Italy anymore. Property - it is not an apartment, it is a single room in a very small attic. Imagine half of a regular dorm room. On the second morning, at 5 AM, on a Sunday, someone decided to rummage for about 1 hour through their storage space that is right at the door. It is theirs so it could only have been someone from the property. So much for quiet hours. Third morning, we were 'gifted' with two large nylon bags in front of the door, blocking the already tiny narrow entrance.
