The beautiful former federal capital of Bonn is located in the immediate vicinity (15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bike). Situated right on the Rhine, it’s a destination you shouldn’t miss. Enjoy the wonderful, diverse events held in the Rheinaue during the summer. There’s plenty to see, such as the political landmarks of bygone eras, the Museum Mile, and more—not to mention Ludwig van Beethoven’s birthplace.
The cities of Cologne and Koblenz are also must-sees and are easily accessible by car or train.
In 5 minutes by car (10 minutes by bike), you can reach the town of Mehlem/Bonn Bad Godesberg. In the other direction, it’s also a 5-minute drive (10 minutes by bike) to the town of Oberwinter/Remagen. There you’ll find restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, cafés, banks, doctors, and hair salons.
Enjoy a wonderful getaway in a stunning setting along the Middle Rhine.
We look forward to welcoming you as our guests at the RheinZeit vacation home!
