L'appartement CharmandView est PARFAIT, absolument fabuleux, encore mieux que sur les photos. L'appartement est très confortable, meublé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il ne manque absolument rien, on trouve tout l'équipement et les ustensiles nécessaires pour cuisiner, avec un vrai four et un lave-vaisselle. Il y a également une machine à laver séchante. En plus de la salle de bain, il y a un deuxième local avec des toilettes, un grand lavabo et un miroir, où l'on peut se maquiller ou se coiffer pendant qu'un autre prend sa douche. Mais l'atout de cet appartement est la terrasse exceptionnelle, avec vue sur la basilique Santa Chiara, et la vallée de l'Ombrie, exposée vers l'Ouest, donc permettant de savourer le coucher de soleil. Barbara et Andrea sont des hôtes extrêmement attentionnés et adorables, toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. En plus d'une délicieuse tarte, ils nous avaient laissé des ASSISI CARD, pour visiter les Musées. Il y avait également plusieurs jeux de clés de l'appartement, permettant de sortir à l'extérieur séparément lorsqu'on est plusieurs : chacun peut avoir sa propre clé. C'est vraiment pratique et appréciable. L'appartement est au second étage sans ascenseur. Il est situé à 2 minutes à pied de la place principale, la Piazza del Comune, toujours très joyeuse et animée. C'est le cœur de la ville. Il y a de nombreux bar, restaurants, pizzerie et gelaterie à proximité, et également un mini-market à 5 minutes à pied, sur la Via Portica, où l'on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Le parking est à 5 minutes à pied, (ou 10 minutes quand on avance lentement à cause des valises). Il y a des escalators, mais il faut néanmoins prévoir une dizaine de marches à monter à pied.
Franchement, TOUT était PARFAIT !!!!!! Juste l'égouttoir à vaisselle qui est trop haut pour les personnes qui mesurent moins d'1,60 m. Mais cela n'enlève pas le bonheur de séjourner à CharmandView.

I cannot find enough superlatives to describe this property and the owner, Barbara. The property itself is just stunning. It is more spacious that it looks from the photos, the location is outstanding, the apartment is extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated and the terrace has what has to be one of the best views in Assisi. The location is in the heart of Assisi and we were spoiled for choice when it came to restaurants, bars, pastry options, gelato, shopping. The keys were in a lock box and Barbara had sent us perfect instructions on how to open the box. There was even a very tasty crostata waiting for us on the table. The beds were very comfortable, the living room has a large and 'nice to sit on' sofa, the A/C was great to have as the outside temperatures were high, the windows were well sealed so though we were in the middle of town, it was easy to get a good night's sleep and we very much appreciated the chance to do laundry. Barbara was an amazing resource for local recommendations. She even was able to put us in touch with a very lovely taxi driver to move us from directly in front of the apartment to one of the parking garages - there were four of us with large suitcases as we were in Italy for a wedding and it would have been quite some work to get the suitcases down the stairs along the hillside to the parking garage. I truly do not have words to describe how much we enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

When we booked, we did it primarily for the stunning terrace overlooking not only the valley but equally some of the main churches of Assisi. Simply mind blowing. When we got there, it was even better than we had imagined! Also the host was exceptional. She checked in with us if all was OK regularly answering any question promptly and giving us a wide array of tips as well as recommendations for dinner.
