The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The apartment was well equipped, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked well (much appreciated with temperatures outside reaching 30+ degrees). The location in the old town was very convenient for the main sights of Jerez. The apartment block was very quiet (we had the impression there was very few, if any, other guests staying there.) and the street outside was generally quiet too so we slept well. We had a small private terrace with our apartment which was a nice bonus. We didn't see the manager/owner very much, but when we did she was very helpful, particularly in getting a taxi for us to the airport at the end of our stay. If we come back to Jerez, we would stay at this apartment again.
The online check-in did not work too well for us as we were asked to fill it in only a couple of days before the stay. By that stage we were already on holiday in another town in Spain and our internet connection was intermittent. We missed several messages from the manager/owner before we arrived and she also missed some messages from us. It would have been better if we had been given the option of going to a reception area nearby where we could have called in to pick up the keys and fill in the paperwork when we arrived. However, fortunately, we did get everything sorted eventually before arriving so, in the end, there wasn't an issue.
A few small things that would improve the apartment: (1) There was no place to hand a towel for tea towel in the kitchen area, a couple of wall hooks or a towel rail there would have been useful. (2) The high stools and table in the kitchen area were not good for us (I am 74 years old and find this type of high stool very uncomfortable). A normal height table and chairs would be much better. Fortunately our private terrace had the normal height chairs and table we needed, so as the weather was good, it wasn't a serious problem. (3) We like to use our own soap and shampoo, but there was nowhere to put these down in the shower except on the floor - at my age this was not the best arrangement. A small soap tray by the shower taps would be a big improvement. (4) Also, in the shower, the glass barrier only partly covered the entrance to the shower and there was no shower curtain or door. This inevitably meant that some water splashed onto the bathroom floor. The floor towel outside the shower was very wet by the time two of us had our showers in the morning. A glass door or curtain for the shower entrance would be much better.
