This place was a fun cabin amongst a group of cabins. My wife and I like to hike and were pleasantly surprised to discover that we could hike to Lake Louise right from the cabin. It was about a 15-minute hike up the road and then we hiked up to the Tea House at Lake Louise, about an hour and a half one way, for a magical experience. The fireplace was gas and was used to heat the cabin. Not the romantic fireplace I was expecting but very functional for heat...it was controlled by the thermostat. We loved the bathtub and used it to soak in after our days of hiking! After seeing the Fairmount Hotel at the Lake, and how crowded it was with tourists during the day, I'm glad we didn't choose to spend our money staying there and stayed here instead.

Everything was perfect from check in to laundry service to location.

This place is very close to Lake Louise and within walking distance, which is really convenient. However, if you're driving a truck, like we did with our GMC Sierra, you might find it challenging to get in and out, and parking can be quite difficult. The cabin itself is charming—though a bit outdated, it offers everything we needed. Our only disappointment was that the parking situation wasn't clearly communicated beforehand, which led to some struggle on our part. Despite these challenges, we appreciated the location and the effort to make our stay comfortable. Don't bring a truck or SUV!
