Never go again.love Portugal .a portuqese friend came to see flat an said gives portuqese people bad name renting such a

Just the area nothing else

Very dirty. Needs repairs an decorating, an deep clean.no instructions to use tv, washing machine , cooker .all portuqese items so couldn’t use.water poured on us on the balcony from above balcony several times.very dirty pillows an stained. Not top sheet an duvet had no cover on it. I had to contact company several times as want bedding n towels changed , they just left bundle on sofa after a week for us to do, bought food to cook but cooker wouldn’t turn on.had buy own loo rolls, nothing left in flat. Plus had 1 key so couldn’t go out singly first week. Shower trap very dirty an wouldn’t clear shower water, doors to balcony off runners so very hard to open doors, I could carry on about the place, was shocked booking. Com have it on their books.at 82 yrs old was very upsetting staying in such dirty place

Nice apartment, experience could have been better, but weather didn't help

The apartment is well situated, close to shops/restaurants & beach. It was mostly very quiet there. good security with the main entrance by door code. Lift was great. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa in the sitting room. The apartment was clean, apart from the shower drain which badly needed a good clean. The water was VERY hot! Great shower. It all just really needed som TLC!

I was unable to get out onto a balcony. I was informed that there was a problem with the shutter which would be sorted the next day. There are 2 balconies & I don't know which had the problem. I don't know if it was ever sorted, I messaged & asked but had no reply to this. The balcony off the kitchen , from what I could see through the window gap seemed to have quite a bit of junk on it. The one off the bedroom I could see some chairs. There were no instructions for anything, eg using tv, the aircon unit, how to open & close shutters etc. No basics there for cleaning, a broom but no dustpan. No spare rubbish bags, cleaning cloths, toilet rolls. Every previous apartment I have stayed in around the world has had some basic stuff! You wouldn't expect to buy loads of stuff for a few days stay. Unfortunately the weather was very bad while I was there, 9 days of rain out of 10days! two big storms. I had water coming through the kitchen ceiling at one point... nothing to mop it up with except a spare towel. I messaged about this & was told maintenance would pass by to look but I had no update. The electricity tripped out one evening. I did get help to sort this the following day, and the things that went wrong were no-one's fault, but generally I felt a bit isolated with problems & nobody checked with me again to see if things were ok.
