The cottage was clean and comfortable in a quiet but convenient location. Just yards away from the local pub and minutes from the convenience store and cafes. We used public transport during our stay; the bus stop being located in Market place, just a few minutes walk from the cottage.
We appreciated the welcome gift of wine.
Nothing negative to say. We arrived a little later than expected, only to discover the local convenience store was closed and we were dying for a cuppa. Managed to buy some milk from the local pub. It was a Sunday after all and we are used to 24/7 opening!

Super comfy beds!. Excellent location literally 20 steps from an Aladdins cave of a book store. Good kitchen facilities. Didn't struggle for on the road parking out front which was good.
Few things wetent great.The shower heads were so dirty. I cleaned the muck off the detachable one to use it....simple wipe so could have easily been cleaned (see pic). The TV didn't have any connectivity to any app except Netflix which was a shame as we wanted to have a spooky movie night.. not a problem for some and we worked round it.
Couple observations....
The wifi didn't stay connected and was in and out all weekend...didnt impact us that much but might some.
The lounge is not designed for lounging...chairs not comfy etc but that's on me for not checking the pictures better...may be an issue for those that want that lounging option.

Clean and well maintained. Treats for the guests, and we'll stocked with tea and coffee , very generous. Grocery shop five minutes away and a pub serving food almost opposite. P
