An amazing experience, exactly as described in the listing. We were there during the omega heat wave, and despite no air conditioning it was very pleasant. The proximity to Bayeux made enjoying the local town a walkable experience. For 5 adult family members exploring the WWII battlefields on Normandy it was a great base from which to operate.

Unbelievable stay for our family of 8! We traveled with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9–17), and this property was perfect for everyone. The home itself is beautiful, and the grounds are incredibly spacious with a historic charm—plenty of room for the kids to run around and burn off energy. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s a peaceful, relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring Normandy. The layout worked well for our group, with two full bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a tub/shower), which made getting ready easy.We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Normandy—especially families. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was absolutely lovely! It had plenty of space inside for our multi-generational group to spread out (parents, 2 kids under 5, grandma, and aunt), and the grounds themselves were just amazing! Our daughter loved the cherry orchard, and the gazebo with the beautiful roses made a wonderful place for everyone to relax with a snack. I cannot imagine a better introduction to the French countryside! The hosts were also absolutely lovely, easily arranging early check in and late baggage storage for us, as well as giving us tips on rental cars and restaurants.

Important to know: This property has only TWO actual bedrooms, plus fold-out couches in living areas, one of which you have to walk through to get to the kitchen or toilet, with no doors. The other is in a great room that is also the dining room. Though it's not mentioned anywhere, I was told that we somehow should have known to tell them we wanted an additional bed made up for one of our teenagers so they didn't have to share a room. In all the numerous apartments our family has rented, all bedrooms listed in the description were available to us, so we were surprised to find only two prepared for us. Even more surprised to be told we'd done something wrong when the description isn't accurate. This is a very beautiful property with a great deal of charm. However, it's been furnished rather cheaply, with many low-quality items in poor condition, and an oddly stingy allotment of pillows -- one thin, small pillow per person. When I located additional pillows in a closet and asked for pillowcases for them, I was told it was an outrageous request, that no one should need more than 1 pillow! Also note if you're with a larger group that there is only one shower, which unfortunately didn't drain while we were staying. The other bathroom has a handheld shower and tub. It's a very lovely property, but don't expect what you'd normally find in highly-rated listings. It's too bad, as some simple upgrades could make this a much more pleasant and comfortable place to stay.
In an outstanding historical monument, almost in Bayeux, enjoy spending your time in one of the most beautiful places in Bayeux. Magnificent buildings of the 17th century around a lovely courtyard: manor, bakery, barn, old press and carriage house... Ideally located to visit the landing beaches and Mont Saint Michel.
Very large and beautiful apartment: living room with floor tiles with a fireplace of the sixteenth century, a master suite with bathroom + bedrooms + shower + kitchen + laundry. Parquet and old oak beams. The best modern comfort in a very old place. Piano in the living room and private tennis court. Walking distance from Bayeux center (Cathedral), 500 meters from the railways station. Safe parking inside the property.
