Welcome to Water Street Retreat!
Our home away from home in the heart of Saugatuck! Enjoy hassle free parking as you are within walking distance of most shops, galleries, restaurants, and attractions. We sought to equip our home to anticipate your needs during your stay. This Condo makes for a perfect family or friends getaway!
INSIDE THE HOME
Beautiful 3 bedroom and 3 ½ bathroom condo. Ground-level features a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top) and a twin size bed, with a full bath down the hall, and access to the garage. The second level will give you the open concept feel, you will find a half bath off of the kitchen, a dining area that provides seating for eight, and the living room. Enjoy your morning coffee on either balcony, one off of the kitchen and the other off of the living room. Go up another level and you find two bedrooms with two full baths attached, the master queen size bedroom, and another room with a double.

This property is accurately described in Vrbo, is well-maintained, was clean, is well-equipped, and is thoughfully and somewhat attractively appointed. The only reason I can't give five stars is that the air conditioning system is inadequate to cool the top floor. (The first floor of this three-floor condo has a bedroom and full bath (and garage); the second floor is kitchen and living/dining room (and half bath); top floor is two bedrooms, two baths.) The day we arrived, it was about 84 degrees outside (and it had been that warm in the area for a few days), yet the first two floors were cool. The top floor, however, was hot and stuffy, and clearly would be bad for sleeping. Hoping they could do something about it, I called the host’s office, reporting that the top floor was hot. In response, the person said: “Well, using logic, hot air rises. So it’s going to be warm on the top floor. Use fans.” So we set the thermostat low, and placed and used fans. For the remainder of our stay, the first two floors were cold, and the top floor was too hot for comfortable sleeping.

We loved the condo on Water Street! It was clean, conveniently located near shops and restaurants and had plenty of space for our family. The host was communicative and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything was good and as expected. Great property and excellent location for a stay in Saugatuck. Quite spacious property. Close to what is happening in the town. Wish it was a little less expensive though.
