About this apartment rental
This modern vacation rental, situated in a quiet location, is located in the wild and romantic Wellter Valley in the beautiful Fichtelgebirge Mountains. With 100 m² of living space, it offers two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a bathroom with a rain shower, a fully equipped, high-quality kitchen, and a living room with a wood-burning stove for romantic evenings. A comfortable extra bed for two additional guests can be set up in the living room.
A balcony with lounge furniture for shared use is also available. Behind the house, there is a cozy seating area and a grill, as well as two hanging chairs with a view of the greenery.
The attic vacation rental is the highlight of our farm—a place to feel at home, relax, and unwind. It was completely renovated in 2021 and furnished with high-quality furnishings. The roof has been very well insulated, so it’s not too hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter.
The vacation rental is in a very quiet location. It’s situated in the attic of the main house on a three-sided farmstead. The hosts—Sonja, Andy, and Werner—live in the house, along with one tenant. The farm is home to two horses, chickens, and rabbits. Every now and then, a fox bids the guests good night, and with a little luck, you might spot deer and wild boars at the edge of the forest. At the Egerstau—not far from the vacation rental—beavers live, and with a bit of luck, they can be spotted in the evening hours.
The common room in the courtyard, featuring a ping-pong table, darts, a pool table, and foosball, invites guests of all ages to play. Outside, our BERG go-karts and a treehouse are perfect for letting off steam.
As a special highlight, a hot tub can be booked for €99 per evening. The wood-fired hot tub features a built-in bubble jet system and underwater lighting.
From October through the end of March, our outdoor sauna can also be booked. The price is €49 for two hours.
Please note that the hot tub and the outdoor sauna can only be booked upon request and subject to availability.

♡ Cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, a large sofa set, and two hanging chairs (can be comfortably converted into a sleeping area for two additional guests)
♡ Electricity, flat-screen TV, DVD player with a small selection of DVDs
♡ Small selection of books, art supplies for children, wooden building blocks, and a farm set with Schleich animals to play with
♡ Balcony with lounge furniture for shared use

♡ Upon request, a travel crib for children (including a fitted sheet) and a high chair can be provided.
Please note: A security deposit of €200 must be paid in cash upon arrival. The apartment will be inspected by Sonja Schwarz, who is the on-site host. If the apartment is left in good condition and without damage, the security deposit will, of course, be refunded upon departure.
Important: Please do not enter the apartment with outdoor shoes. We are happy to provide slippers. Additionally, the last flight of stairs leading to the vacation apartment is somewhat steep (see photos). Due to the sloped ceilings, the apartment is not recommended for very tall or heavy individuals.

It was such a nice experience for us. We stayed there as 2 families with kids. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. You can find everything that you want.
As soon as you entered the house you can feel the pinewood smell which is very relaxing. All the beds, sofas and chairs were very comfortable. Internet connection was good in the living room but you can't connect from the kitchen but it is not such a big deal.
Children were so happy. There were toys, puzzles, painting blocks and pencils. They never got bored at home. Also there was a beautiful tree house, horses, swings and firepit in the garden which unfortunately we couldn't use because of the stormy and cold weather.
We enjoyed the fireplace and the two swings in the living room while sipping our drinks and chatting. You can also find different dvd and book options.
We met Sonja, Andy, and Sven. They are all very friendly and kind. We are looking forward to go there again.
